Precision Industrial Ltd was started in April 1997 when four management employees of the former owners of the facility purchased all the buildings and equipment of the Prince Albert Facility from Rautewood. Rautewood had purchased all of the assets of Precision Service & Engineering Ltd in 1995 and had closed the operation on December 31, 1996 due to declining sales in the OSB industry.
We are now ISO 9001:2000 certified.
Since
Startup in 1997, Precision Industrial has completed
a number of projects including:
- Numerous subfabrications for Rautewood. (Roker, chain flight and belt conveyors)
- Shop design and Fabrication of boiler casing, hoppers, dissolving tank for Babcock & Wilcox
- Subfabrication of panel conveyors for TSI INC.
- Shop Design and Fabrication of capacity 304 SS Bucket Elevator - Rexnond Conveyors Equipment Division.
- Design and fabrication of load splitter, Weyerhaeuser Pulp & Paper Division, Prince Albert. Sask.
- Design supply and install of semi truck pulp unbinding station.
- Design and fabrication log and waste handling system for Weyco OSB 2000 Mill, Hudson Bay, Sask.
- Fabrication of oil extraction machine for spice seeds.
- Design, fabrication and installation of wood waste Hog system for Louisiana Pacific Corp. Swan River, Manitoba.
- Design supply and install numerous structural and mechanical modifications for the pulp and paper industry. These consist of:
- Design
Supply and install of various access platforms and structural
steel
- Maintenance shutdown participation supplying millwrights and
ironworkers for various pulp and paper related equipment repairs and
installation experienced throughout plant, Wood room, Reclaim CTS,
Steam Plant, Chem Plant, Digester Bleach Plant, Paper Machine, Fold and
Sheeter area.
- AC DC Motor change outs for Pulp Machine to Lay Boy Ind. Dry
End
Shut down 2000. (Consisted of motors and reducers ranging from 15hp to
250 hp. Complete with design and fabricated motor bases.
- Potassium Calcium Carbonate Plant design supply and install structural steel conveyers, tanks and Shaker to handle lime.
- Detail and Fabricate heavy industrial equipment for Tar Sands Processing Facilities.

Except for normal wear and tear, Precision Industrial warranties all materials and workmanship for a period of twelve months from the date the equipment is put into service by the purchaser.
